Monday Woodworking for Teens
Register for the 2025 Spring Semester
Mondays 5pm-7pm
April 7- June 2 (7 Sessions)
**No Class April 21 & May 26
Led by Instructor Andreas
No material is more versatile, beautiful or useful to work with than wood. Through step by step instruction, students will learn the fundamentals and techniques to safely work with hand and power tools.
The semester runs for 7 weeks, with face-to-face classes once a week. Over your first semester, you will learn the fundamentals of woodworking and how to safely use tools such as a saw, chisel, gouge, scraper, and hand plane. Students will often start with carving a spoon, and a box for keepsakes. Once each student has successfully learned how to safely and properly work with hand tools and equipment they can take on more complex projects.
Our Teen class is tailored for younger students who are interested and passionate about the art of woodworking. Please reach out to Instructor Andreas if you believe your child would be a great fit for the class.
Next Semester:
Summer Semester 2025
Mondays 5pm-7pm
June 9 - July 21 (7 Sessions)
Registration opens May 23 at 9AM.
